AFTER POST, MY LAPTOP WOULD BOOT TO A BLACK SCREEN WITHOUT ANY ERROR MESSAGES. I HAD RESTARTED MY LAPTOP, GOT INTO THE STARTUP MENU, RESTARTED IN SAFEMODE WITH NETWORKING, AND SCANNED MY LAPTOP FOR VIRUS' TO FIND NO INFECTIONS. I'VE NOTICED THAT DESKTOP ICONS AND BACKGROUND WAS ENLARGED SO I RESET THEM TO DEFAULT. NEXT I RAN SPINRITE TO FIND NO ISSUES WITH MY HD. I THEN REBOOTED TO NORMAL AND SEEMED TO RESTART OK. AFTER DELETING EXPIRED NORTON'S, I RAN DEFRAG BUT MY LAPTOP FROZE WHICH FORCED ME TO BRBOOT WITH THE POWER BUTTON. I ATTEMPTED DEFRAG AGAIN AND MY SCREEN GLITCHED AND WENT BLACK.
